FCHS Mission Statement
Our mission at Fox Creek High School is to graduate students who will have a positive impact on their community. Our goal is to create an interconnected learning environment that combines a demanding college-preparatory education with the many resources of the CSRA. This environment includes the government, performing arts, industry, the medical community, and sports. We accomplish our goal by establishing academic excellence, providing a moral focus, and obtaining parental involvement.

FCHS Vision Statement
Fox Creek High School will be a major provider of secondary education in Edgefield. As an educational institution responsible for the total development of students, our goal is to enable students to become totally, seamlessly integrated with the local, national, and global community. Challenges of rapid global transformation mandate that the students of Fox Creek High School be equipped with knowledge, insight, and flexibility. Fox Creek High School understands this challenge and strives to empower the whole student to experience present and future success, and to beneficially impact the changing world. There will be a runoff for the 7th position on the Board of Directors which

will take place on May 23, 2013 at Fox Creek High School. 7am-7pm

Candidates for the runoff election are:

Bill Turner

I have had four children attend Fox Creek, one from the very first day Fox Creek was in existence. Another was the salutatorian of his class, another was third in his class and all have been very active in sports. I envision Fox Creek as a leader in academics as well as sports, producing productive citizens of Edgefield County. Fox Creek will be know for its excellence in preparing students for the real world, starting with the ability to type with ten fingers and draft a letter that is grammatically correct. I hope to bring my experience in engineering, business and management of a large family to the board table to successfully carry out the mission of Fox Creek High School.

Brad Whitfield

I am employed by South Carolina Electric & Gas as an Engineering Specialist. I supervise all the contract crews that perform natural gas work for the western division of S.C.E. & G. I have lived in North Augusta my entire life, as well as my wife. I have a son (Forrest) that is in the eleventh grade at Fox Creek, and next year my youngest son (Garrett) will be coming to Fox Creek. I would like to be on the board because I like the direction that FCHS is going, and I would like to be a part of the reason that school continues going to the right direction.

Mr. Naas Receives Golden Apple Award!

2013 Golden Apple Awards

On Friday, May 3rd WJBF News Channel 6 aired the 2013 Golden Apple Awards ceremony live from the Maxwell Performing Arts Theatre on the campus of Georgia Regents University. The show was hosted by Brad Means and Jennie Montgomery. The awards show is now archived on the WJBF Golden Apple Award page. The Golden Apple awards show is broken up into four segments. Mr. John Naas a Computer Science Teacher from Fox Creek High School is honored during segment four. Mr. Naas was the ninth teacher from Fox Creek to win the Golden Apple Award. A big congratulations goes to all the teachers who were honored at this annual ceremony!
